Quick Quotation Method for Injection Molds
1. Empirical Calculation Method for Plastic Injection Molds
1.1 Mold Price = Material Cost + Design Fee + Processing Fee and Profit + VAT + Trial Mold Fee + Packaging and Transportation Fee;
1.2 The proportions of each item are usually as follows:
※ Material Cost: Materials and standard parts account for 15%-30% of the total mold cost;
※ Processing Fee and Profit: 30%-50%;
※ Design Fee: 1% of the total mold cost 0%-15%;
※Trial molding: For large and medium-sized molds, the percentage can be controlled within 3%; for small precision molds, it can be controlled within 5%.
※Packaging and transportation costs: Can be calculated based on actual costs or at 3%.
※Value-added tax: 13%.
2. Material coefficient method for plastic injection molds
※Mold material costs can be calculated based on mold size and material prices.
※Mold price = (6~10) * material cost
※Forging mold, plastic mold = 6 * material cost
※Die casting mold = 10 * material cost 3. Injection Molding Processing Fee Calculation
※ Injection Molded Part Cost = Material Cost + Processing Fee + Packaging Fee + Transportation Fee (mainly for the Yangtze River Delta region)
※ Material Cost = [(1 + Material Loss) * Product Weight * Batch Size + Machine Adjustment Loss Material Weight + Normal Scrap Rate * Product Weight * Batch Size] * Material Unit Price / Batch Size; where material loss is generally 3%-5%; machine adjustment loss material weight and normal scrap product weight are generally 5000g-15000g per product.
※ Processing Fee = (Machine Adjustment Time / Batch Size + Molding Time / Number of Mold Cavities) * Injection Molding Machine Operator Fee
