PEEK is a thermoplastic possessing outstanding mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance properties. PEEK has high tensile strength from 90 to 100 MPa and bending modulus of about 4 GPa. PEEK can withstand temperatures up to 250°C and has high melting point – 343°C. PEEK possesses very high chemical resistance properties equal to the ones of nickel alloys. Water absorption rate of PEEK is less than 0.1%.
